Walter’s role as UDU’s Principal Real Estate Broker, is representing buyers, sellers, and investors. In short, his job is to determine your needs, assist you in your search if you are a buyer or market your property and manage the transaction for you. Working full-time, all the time, to exceed your expectations. He is an experienced negotiator for 24 years in multifamily, commercial, residential, and land sales. Furthermore, he is very versed in 1031 tax deferred exchanges and other complex multiple property transactions, property management, new project development including Accessory Dwelling Unit development, and in rehabbing fixer houses or multi unit apartments.

Katharina is acting as UDU Real Estate’s Property Specialist in helping to prioritize your housing purchase or in case of a home sale in obtaining the highest gain in the shortest amount of time. She strives to always represent your best interests in all negotiations.

Her goal is to assist her clients from finding or selling the right property to helping them design, remodel, or build the perfect home or UDU. All the while keeping in mind and budget their personal life style, needs or investment objectives. She serves everyone in the community, but her passion is to work with people who are looking to age-in-place or who have special accessibility needs for their homes. Her strong background in gerontology and horticultural therapy, as well as her training in interior design make her uniquely qualified to assist this specific group of home owners.

Together Katharina and Walter will help you determine the appropriate market value for your chosen property by researching and reviewing pertinent comparable sales to determine the approximate fair market value from recent sales in the properties area. They prepare or review written contract offers, giving special consideration to your specific needs and explain the contract to you in detail. They will act as a transaction coordinator to oversee the entire closing process so that they may handle complications that may occur throughout the sales process, reducing stress on their clients. All the while providing you with updates as to the status of your closing. They will examine all closing documents for accuracy and review all documents with you to help you better understand the closing process. By helping you and the seller or buyer arrange the closing and assist in synchronizing the transaction, they will ensure a smooth and low-stress process. Finally they will schedule and conduct a final walk-through inspection on your soon-to-be-property if you are a buyer.
